On the chosen basis of our crafts from chestnuts, with the help of thermo-glue and a pistol the fruits are attached.

Next, decorate the vase to your taste. The vase is coated with paint, with any color you like, or simply varnished to maintain the original natural color.

  2. In the details of the "trunk", make 4 holes for the legs and 2 more for the neck and tail. Insert cropped toothpicks instead of the front and hind legs, do not forget about the tail. In the hole for the neck attach the blank "head", made earlier.
  3. Scrape the eyes, nose and mouth on the face of the animal. Make two more holes and insert the ears (or horns).
  4. Similarly, you can make a bird. For example, a heron. Only instead of the front pair of paws, attach two wings to the body. And on the hind legs, lock a piece of chestnut so that the bird stands without support.
  5. And in order to create a caterpillar - the simplest craftwork of dry chestnuts with your own hands for a kindergarten (in the master class with a photo), chain together several chestnuts. And attach the last part “head” with eyes and horns with super glue to the last one.

  • wire,
  • acorns, fir or pine cones, chestnuts,
  • glue gun,
  • sackcloth,
  • scissors.

Which clay is more suitable?

There are several types of polymer clay, and not all of them are suitable for creating flowers. That is, of course, you can mold them from any clay, but the effect, quality will be different. Not only flowers are made of polymer clay, but also dolls, decorative statues, and bijoux. For each case its own clay is best suited.

Polymer clay flowers can not be distinguished from these!

To create naturalistic colors they use light self-hardening clays (no need to bake them, they harden themselves in air). By their plastic properties, they resemble marshmallows: they stretch easily and roll out thinly. The most famous self-hardening clay for creating flowers - ClayCraft Deco made in Japan. It is especially recommended for beginners in the field of modeling. It incorporates cellulose - that is why the flowers from it make the lightest, dull and thin, like paper. You can not wash them - just clean with a dry brush.

Cold porcelain (one of the types of self-hardening polymer clay) is specially designed for making flowers. With his appearance, such a direction of creativity as ceramic floristics was formed. Flowers from this material are obtained so naturalistic that in the photo they can hardly be distinguished from the real ones.

Ceramic floristry - a separate direction of creativity

You can buy ready-made cold china - for example, Modena, Modern or Fluer brands. And you can make clay for modeling flowers and yourself: it is very simple. Here is one of the recipes.
We will need:

  • corn or potato starch
  • PVA glue
  • baking soda
  • petroleum jelly

Starch (two tablespoons) must be ground with a teaspoon of vaseline (it is most convenient to do this in a ceramic plate or a shallow bowl).

To the resulting mixture, add a good pinch of soda, mix. Теперь начинаем понемногу вводить клей, пока «тесто» не станет достаточно эластичным, но не слишком густым или тугим. При «переборе» разбавьте его клеем. Разминаем комок, смазав руки вазелином. Фарфор готов к применению.After modeling of it, no additional processing is required - you just need to let it dry. Finished products are covered with acrylic paints.

Ready self-hardening clays are only white, gray or terracotta. But baked polymer clay (plastic) has a wide color gamut. In addition, it may include glitter, filler, imitating metal or stone, be translucent or fluorescent colors. Figures made from it should be baked in the oven (but not in a microwave oven at all!) Or just cook like dumplings to make them hard. The finished products are very durable, and the fine details are flexible, easily rebuilding the original shape after deformation. For example, the petal is not thicker than a millimeter, bent almost in half, it will not break, but will return to its original position. Valuable quality for polymer clay jewelry. But this result is obtained only with its proper firing.

Plastic Roasting Rules

If you chose baked polymer clay as a material for modeling, your decision can only be welcomed. Plastic products do not lose their shape, are not afraid of water and do not fade with time. They can be polished, varnished, covered with acrylic paints. Plastic itself is very convenient in operation. It is as easy to sculpt from it as from plasticine, it can be rolled out, baked and cut parts and figures with scissors or a knife.

The only difficulty - the process of roasting. It is worth underdeveloping or overdoing - and all the work down the drain. But if you strictly follow the instructions, and this is not a problem.

Before being sent to the oven, the figures are placed on ceramic tiles, old earthenware utensils or a metal tray covered with baking paper.

For better baking, flowers (or other products) should be planted on toothpicks or pins and stuck them in a clump of foil.

Strict observance of the temperature regime is the main condition for the successful "baking" of thermoplastics. It is necessary to adhere to the level specified by the manufacturer. In one case it may be 110 degrees, in the other - 130.

At a temperature lower than required, flowers and other crafts made of polymer clay are brittle and very fragile, and at higher temperatures, they darken and become glossy. A significant excess of temperature leads to complete deformation of the product, it spreads and begins to release toxic gas.

It is important not only to be beautifully molded, but to bake properly!

To monitor compliance with the correct temperature will help thermometer for the oven.

It is also important to adhere to the manufacturer's recommendations for the time of "baking", it ranges from 3 to 40 minutes. For small flowers with subtle details, it takes 5 to 8 minutes. For products with a thickness of 25 mm - already 20 minutes.

It is not scary if you keep the product in the oven a little longer than it was when it is at the required temperature, but if you do not keep it, it may eventually begin to crumble. Accurately adhere to the time frame will help the timer.

Take precautions when firing clay: take children away from the kitchen and open the air vent for ventilation, put all food in the refrigerator or under plastic wrap, do not “bake” the clay with food. After firing, wash the oven thoroughly, wash your hands with soap and clay stuck on the palm with a sponge, soaped with dishwashing detergent (after which it should be thrown out). In the "raw" form, thermoplastic is not toxic, but when heated, everything changes.

How to sculpt flowers from polymer clay

In addition to the material, for the manufacture of flowers from polymer clay also need to have:

  • Latex gloves or fingertips. It is not always convenient to work in them, but on the products there will not be fingerprints that spoil their appearance. Gloves should be your size - they are more tight to the fingers and less interfere with work.

For cutting petals and other parts of the flower is better to use a sharp stationery knife, and the blade will do. They allow you to avoid deformation of the product when cutting.

  • Stacks. To draw a vein on the petals and leaves of the flower, you will need toothpicks, knitting needles or special stacks of metal, which can be found in the “All for Drawing” stores.
    • Rolling pin. You can roll the clay with a glass bottle or a special glass rolling pin.

To sculpt beautiful flowers and flower arrangements, you do not need to have special artistic abilities, but perseverance, patience and skill will even come in handy.

You can start with the simplest - modeling clay from a rose for jewelry.

Need: baked polymer clay pink and rubber gloves.

Roll sausage from clay and cut it into pieces - future petals. Form them petals of different sizes.

We form flower petals of different sizes

Twist the middle of the flower from the smallest petal, the rest from the smallest to the largest - attach to it in a circle.

Make a hole in the finished flower with a pin or a toothpick, then attach accessories (a chain or a earring hook) to it.

“Bake” the product in the oven, observing the temperature conditions and firing time specified by the manufacturer in the instructions on the clay packaging.

When the simplest technique is mastered, you can try to make a more realistic flower using various special tools: forms for cutting petals, molds for petals and a rose cup, wire for artificial flowers, green tape for stems, a stack with a round tip. With the help of a stack with a ball at the end, the edges of the petals are thinly rolled, and with the help of the mold they are made similar to the texture of a real rose flower. Petals in this case are glued with white glue on the drop-shaped base of the bud. The five-pointed calyx of a green clay flower, the ends of which are processed with a knife for realism, completes the beautiful picture.

Plasticine at home with their own hands: the varieties and recipes

What could be nicer and more useful than modeling for children? Perseverance, creativity, fine motor skills, coordination develop. Strengthen and become more agile fingers. And most importantly, modeling is easy to organize at home, almost at any time. Hence the great need to learn how to make clay at home with their own hands.

    Why do it yourself?

    • Homemade clay has a number of compelling advantages over purchased clay.
    • Plasticine made at home is safe, because the materials used are substances that do not harm the health of the child. Dyes are used natural. Parents are calm about the quality of the mother.
    • Homemade clay is usually softer, more tender - it does not need to be kneaded for a long time.
    • If the baby is still quite small (1-2 years), and actively tastes everything, clay, made at home, with the addition of salt and citric acid, will quickly discourage the desire to eat it, and without unpleasant consequences.
    • Plasticine created at home is different in that it does not dry for a long time, does not stick to hands and does not leave greasy stains, and is very easily washed off with water.

And do it fast and fun!

  • Finally, homemade clay is much cheaper, especially if you take into account its consumption of children and the cost of materials.
  • What is required for the manufacture of plasticine?

For the manufacture of children's plasticine, mainly use food products that can be found in any kitchen. These include flour, starch, soda, salt, citric acid, vegetable oil, and food coloring. For the manufacture of plasticine with an unusual texture and properties may need: PVA glue, sodium tetraborate, glitter, paint, foam balls, cream of tartar, glycerin, glue for hands, etc. The composition of clay depends on its purpose and type. There are a lot of different recipes for making "dough", and they differ in components, complexity and preparation time. There is cold-cooking clay, and there is one that needs to be boiled, fried, baked. And as a matter of fact, homemade plasticine is an elastic mass, like a dough, so the first recipe to be considered is plasticine, which is most likely known to you as “salted dough”.

A simple mass recipe for making flour, salt and water

Yes, this is the easiest recipe from which salty dough is made. But, despite the widespread occurrence of this material, salt dough has not lost its popularity and relevance today, and it can be safely attributed to the types of homemade clay. Salty dough is soft, elastic, keeps its shape very well and is suitable for making “long-term” products - it is well dried, turning into a strong and solid result. When adding dyes to the test base, it turns out a wonderful bright "clay", which is no worse than the purchased one. The disadvantages of this test, can only be attributed to a relatively short shelf life - in the refrigerator 3-maximum 7 days. After that, the dough forms an ugly and hard gray crust, which is no longer suitable for use.

Materials for manufacturing and manufacturing process:

    • 1 cup flour,
    • 1 glass of water
    • ½ cup finely ground salt,

The ingredients are mixed in the following order: dissolve the salt in water, and adding flour, knead the dough. If necessary, add flour with salt (keeping proportions). We knead the dough very well, wrap it in a bag and send it in the fridge for at least 6 hours. Of course, you can immediately sculpt the dough, but after “settling” in the refrigerator, it becomes more elastic and pliable, keeps its shape well. The dough figures are durable and light. You can immediately sculpt from color dough, and you can paint already dried products with gouache. To make the dough more like clay, you should add a spoonful of vegetable oil (or a little hand cream) and a spoonful of citric acid to the base.

    Starch clay

If for some reason there is no flour, then you can make clay from starch and soda. This dough is different in white color, flexible consistency and a longer shelf life.

    To make it you need:

    • 1.5 cups of water.
    • Soda - 450g.
    • Cornstarch - 1 cup.
    • Dyes.

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan and mix until uniform. Then heat the mixture, stirring constantly. The resulting solution will increase in volume and boil.

Boil for about 5 minutes until the mixture is thick and smooth. Dishes should be removed from heat, put clay on a plate and wait for it to cool completely.

For children, you can come up with a variety of creative tasks: modeling aliens, sweets, clay landscapes. Teach students to sculpt basic elements - cakes, sausages, balls, flagella. To begin with, show how to make a tree, how to create a caterpillar from balls, how to make dishes and fruits. Combining the elements and applying your own imagination, you will have fun and usefully spend your time, and when the clay ends, you can easily make a new one.

In this video you can see the process of making 4 types of clay from different materials.

    The most interesting articles:

The theme of polymer clay modeling has now become very popular. This is understandable, the clay is very pleasant to handle, it cannot be soiled like paints, the process of working with it is soothing, and most importantly, the products made from it are very entertaining. Clay resembles plasticine, but its plasticity is much higher, which allows you to create crafts much higher quality plasticine. If you do not want to bother with baking homemade clay, then you can use self-hardening polymer clay with your own hands.

The only minus of polymer clay is its price. Quality clay is not cheap, and if you consider how much you have to spoil it for beginners, you immediately begin to think and look everywhere for a recipe for polymer clay with your own hands.

How to make homemade polymer clay? To begin, find out what components this clay consists of. So, the main part of it is polyvinyl chloride, or pvc, and different types of plasticizers, giving the clay softness and elasticity. As well as pigments, to give the clay different shades. And stabilizers that slow down its hardening. We will make home-made clay, of course, from other components, but the final product will be much closer to plastic in its plastic properties.

To create 350 grams of home-made clay, we need:

    • a glass of PVA glue,
    • a glass of cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp. l vaseline,
    • 1 tbsp. l low-fat and silicone-free hand cream
    • 2 tbsp. l lemon juice
    • enamelware
    • plastic spatula
    • plastic board
    • some food film.

    Cooking method:

In an enamel bowl pour corn starch, add glue and petroleum jelly. All thoroughly mixed to avoid lumps. Then add lemon juice, and mix everything until a homogeneous consistency. The mixture should turn plastic. Then put the mixture in the microwave at maximum power for 30 seconds.

Pull and mix, then put again for 30 seconds. The mass is slightly covered with a dry crust, it should be cut. Lubricate the plastic plate with hand cream and put ready mass on it. Next, you need to knead the mass well as dough. This process takes about 5 minutes. It should be plastic and elastic mass.

We roll the resulting clay with a sausage and put it on the cloth so that the clay has cooled and excess moisture has left it, then we wrap the plastic in a food film. You can start working right away, or you can wrap it better with film, put it in a box and leave it in the fridge. If you decide to use homemade clay immediately, then you can make it colored immediately or paint it later.

To give the clay a shade, you need to divide it into several parts and add a little acrylic paint, then mix each piece. Each colored lump of clay is individually wrapped in film and stored until use. It is important to remember to make the clay softer, just warm it up a little, and then add some Vaseline or cream to it. But the best way is to mix it with softer clay.

Clay is ready, now you can do the work. Let's try to make the first products from our plastic. From this clay you can create the most unusual crafts and jewelry.

Examples of work from home length can be seen in the photo:

You can do the creation of products from the same color of clay, you can do a combined work, but in any case, the main thing is to decide and take the first step. You can make a simple flower, as shown in the photo:

In another way, it is called cold porcelain. One caveat, for its production will need a plasticizer, it will significantly improve the plasticity of the product. Do not be afraid, it is sold in any car store. Let's start.

    • 350 mm glue Moment and PVA 1: 1,
    • 150 mm corn starch,
    • 1 tsp. citric acid
    • 1 tsp. glycerol,
    • 2 tbsp. l plasticizer
    • any cream without silicone.

    Materials needed for work

To create polymer clay at home, you will need materials that have nothing to do with real clay:

    • starch (recommended corn, but you can use and potato),
    • lemon juice,
    • plasticizer (petrolatum),
    • PVA glue,
    • hand cream (silicone-free, non-greasy),
    • food coloring to give the desired color.

For mixing these ingredients you will need glass containers, a plastic spatula for mixing and a rolling board.

    Work order

Polymer clay do it yourself at home as follows:

    1. For mixing use refractory glass container. We will need: Vaseline, PVA glue and starch. The combination of ingredients is as follows: 1 tablespoon / cup / cup. Need to stir until homogeneity.
    2. Now we add a couple of tablespoons of lemon juice and a dye (we take the quantity depending on the color we want to get). The quality of the material depends on the quality of the batch, so we mix thoroughly.
    3. The resulting semi-finished product rolls into a ball and goes for half a minute in the microwave.

    Set power level to maximum.

  • Once again we mix everything up, we form a kind of ball and again send it in the microwave under the same conditions.
  • Lubricate the plate for rolling with hand cream, take out the semi-finished clay from the microwave. Remove carbon deposits, which is almost always formed by a thin layer on the surface of the material, as well as on the walls of the dishes.
  • The last stage is mass kneading until ready. It should become elastic and resilient.
  • Everything, polymer clay do it yourself at home is ready. Now you need to roll it into sausages and place on a cloth, let it cool completely, pack it in food film and put in a dish with a tight lid. So material ready for hand-made articles will remain plastic for a long time.

From the described number of ingredients should be about 300 - 3500 grams of material.

Its undoubted plus is a variety of colors and shades, because you can add any color or a combination of several colors, giving the sausages shades of all the colors of the rainbow.

Unlike ordinary plasticine, this material can be used to create openwork items - flowers, unusual beads, decorative cups decorated with stucco. After drying, they are sent to the kiln (the plasticizer, which we use as petroleum jelly, will evaporate at high temperature and the figures will harden). The quality of the clay produced will determine how fragile the decorations will be.

Polymer clay do it yourself at home can be your business. First you need to practice with small amounts of material. If everything works out, and you find sales (usually these are numerous members of groups in social networks, where people share experiences and share their plastic modeling success), production can be put on stream, and professional materials can be used instead of scrap materials.

How to burn clay at home?

In this case, as they say: - "All ingenious is simple ..."
If you are not a jeweler or a potter, it makes no sense to buy a muffle furnace because of one product.

Use for firing tiles 40 x 40 oven household stove.
Before firing, dry the product for 3-5 days not in a draft and not at room temperature, in any box or box.
Put in a box, cover the product with a damp cloth and close the box with a lid.
If this is not done, the product may crack when exposed to high temperatures.
And all the work will go down the drain.

Sprinkle washed, dried river sand at least 2-3 cm thick on a conventional oven pan.
You can put a burning product on the sand, cover the product with something metallic, you can also use the second pan.
The main thing is that the top pan does not touch the product, so that it does not crush or spoil the appearance of the future finished product.

The temperature is gradually increased, as the masters of self-taught people say - warming up, baking, aging.
    * Warming up will happen in 30 minutes,
    * Baking in hours 1.5-2.
    * Compaction, roasting and strength only after 5-6 hours at the maximum temperature that your household appliance is capable of producing due to its technical characteristics.
Overeat in the oven can be, but not more than 1 hour.

    Overexposed products become very brittle.

. Burn products leave in the oven until cool))))))

Thus, my granddaughter and I burned figurines in the oven, it turns out well, the products are quite viable, unless of course they are dropped.

In the same way, but without burning the upper baking sheet, I already bake the already-painted figures with icing and put them on a piece of asbestos tile.

It is much easier to bake small clay products even without using the oven, on the budget stove itself.
Sand is poured on the cast-iron pan, figures are put on the sand, or future decorations are placed.
Cover the cast iron pot - the temperature is raised as gradually as in the case described for the oven.

! On the burner of the gas stove it does not work out very well, there is an opportunity to screw everything up, since the burner of a household gas stove is unable to give out high temperatures, which are so necessary for firing clay crafts.

Platypus of plasticine and chestnuts - A simple master class

Creating a platypus from clay and chestnuts, start with the manufacture of legs, tail and nose of the animal.

The nose of the animal, so reminiscent of a duck's beak, make by rolling a ball of plasticine and giving it a spade shape.

Make Platypus eyes - use gray and black clay.

It's time to make the legs of the animal. Roll up small plasticine "sausages", flatten them and cut out with a knife or a stack of flippers.

Tail sculpted in the form of a flat square.

Put all the details on the board and start collecting crafts.

First, attach the eyes and nose to the chestnut (Platypus head).

Connect the head with the body of clay and attach the animal legs. Make “nostrils” on the nose of the Platypus with a match.

With a tail, it looks better!

But it looks like the finished crafts.

Handicraft of chestnuts and plasticine Gilt - Master Class

Thousands of crafts and souvenirs can be made from chestnuts, including a Pig from the popular game Angry Birds. The main thing here is to find light green clay.

So, before you begin, prepare the following:

    • Chestnuts (one for each craft),
    • Light green, black, yellow and white clay,
    • Plastic knife,
    • Plastic board for plasticine.
    • Get to making bright crafts.
    1. Cover with an even layer of lime plasticine chestnut.

      Make eyes for the Pig.

Roll a small yellow plasticine sausage - the Pig's mouth. Similarly, make the ears of the animal.

Piglet piglet - yellow flat oval.

You have prepared all the details - it's time to put them together!

Start with a peephole and a piglet.

Make the pig nostrils with a stick, attach ears and a mouth to it.

Gilt is ready to fight with Evil Birds!

Similarly, you can make a few more pigs. At the end of the work, you can cover the craft with colorless varnish - the product will not get dirty and “live” for many years!

Examples of crafts from chestnuts and acorns - Photo and video on making products to school for the competition

The most versatile natural material suitable for creating many handicrafts, always remain acorns and chestnuts. Over time, they do not spoil, do not dry and do not rot, maintaining their natural appearance for many years. Combining chestnuts and acorns, connecting them with clay, you can prepare a lot of works for the school competition.

Crafts from chestnuts and cones for the older group of kindergarten

In the older group of kindergarten, children of 5-6 years can already invent original crafts themselves. Autumn themes are always interesting for children, especially since the nature of September-October is generously shared with them chestnuts, cones, and acorns. Of them, preschool children make funny animals, unusual bouquets, panels, gifts for parents and beautiful installations.

What can be done to a child of the kindergarten group of cones and chestnuts - Examples of handicrafts with photos

In the older group of kindergarten, the child already knows how to handle plasticine and natural materials. Having started doing crafts with a mother or a teacher at 3 years old, by 5-6 years old boys and girls themselves gladly offer adults to take part in their work - to create wonderful animals, bugs, houses, people, robots from cones and chestnuts ... unusual creations of children.

Unusual crafts with chestnuts and leaves

Not only children are addicted to natural crafts. Adults, especially people who are prone to creativity, create the most unusual products. They can be wonderful, unique gifts for a birthday or other holiday. Using autumn leaves and chestnuts, you can collect a large bouquet or make a topiary (mini-tree) fashionable today.

How to make a topiary of chestnuts and leaves - Photo and video of unusual crafts

For the manufacture of topiariya, you must first prepare a flower pot with a filler (plaster, cement) instead of earth, glue, a trunk for the future tree (thick branch), and a newspaper. Work should begin with the basics of crafts - a ball from a crumpled newspaper wrapped with thread and holding its shape well thanks to glue. It must be attached to the trunk and immersed in a pot filled with liquid plaster. After the filler has dried, start decorating your topiary with leaves and chestnuts.

      What is Tao?

Tao is the eternal way, the endless road without end and edge, which runs everywhere and nowhere, where it is unknown where it leads and where it ends. Tao is the eternal Absolute, everything is subordinate only to him, even Heaven acts according to the laws of Tao. The eternal path is also an eternal movement, since in nature nothing is at rest, everything constantly flows and changes. According to the same laws, man lives.

The greatest happiness, according to Lao Tzu and his followers, lies in the knowledge of the Tao and the eternal merging with it. A person who has comprehended Tao and obeys his laws becomes immortal. In order to understand Tao, you need to follow a number of rules relating to the power of the body and the power of the spirit, as well as the concept of not doing.

Man is a collection of divine spirits and demons who constantly struggle for the possession of his soul. If he feeds the spirits with his good deeds, the soul strengthens and approaches the Absolute, and if a person increases the number of demons with evil deeds, the soul weakens and moves away from Tao.

Nutrition of the body is the observance of a special diet, which consists in the almost complete rejection of physical food. By constant physical training, a person must bring his body to complete submission to the mind and learn to eat his own saliva and dew of herbs and flowers.

The third postulate of Tao - the concept of doing nothing - is to abandon purposeful activity, because nature itself is satisfied with everything, because it is necessary for Heaven and Tao, and human intervention only destroys everything created by nature. Based on this idea, Lao-Tzu displays the following formula applicable to the political life of society: the best ruler is the one who tries to do nothing and not change in the state, his subjects live according to the will of Heaven and solve their own problems.

      Taoism manifestations

Taoism existed in several forms, each of which satisfied the interests of an individual layer of society:

Philosophical and ethical - helped to express the educated aristocracy, allowed to understand and explain the feelings and essence of the worldview, the price of human existence and the purpose of each person’s stay on earth.

Mystical - She brought up poorly educated segments of the population, who went to the monks for advice and help in solving everyday household problems. This form instilled moral values and certain norms of behavior.

Scientific - In search of the mythical elixir of immortality, Taoist monks invented many useful items and substances. Gunpowder, porcelain, glass, compass, walling tools, and much more emerged through the research of these people who had moved away from the world. Also within the framework of Taoism, the first theories of the origin of the earth and sky, people and all living beings appeared.

Nowadays, the extremely popular teaching in ancient times - Feng Shui, which binds together the elements and the fate of people, as well as military doctrine - wushu and breathing exercises - qigong All these practices have grown on the basis of Taoism.

Briefly about the main ideas of Taoism

Taoism was born much earlier than Confucianism in times of even more brutal internecine strife and power struggle. The main idea of Taoism is the universal equality of people, equal rights to life and freedom. These ideas immediately attracted many supporters from the lower strata of the population to the new religion.

The poor, the confessors of Taoism, hoped that a new society would soon emerge, based on the principles of justice and harmony. Under the slogans of Taoism, even peasant unrest took place. One of the most famous uprisings in ancient China was the so-called “uprising of the yellow bandages,” which was led by a Taoist monk. The purpose of this uprising was the overthrow of the existing political system and the formation of a new state - universal equality and social justice.

The main task of Taoism is to open people's eyes to the purpose of their birth, to teach to distinguish between good and evil, to open the secrets of the universe, to teach to live in harmony with nature and the universe.

As early as the Middle Ages, a whole network of Taoist monasteries was created in China, where people lived who completely departed from the world and dedicated their lives to the service of Heaven and the eternal Tao.

The monks lived in isolation and did not allow the uninitiated to the sight of their rituals. Their rituals have always interested ordinary mortals, but the monks sacredly kept their secrets and passed their secrets only to dedicated disciples.

The monasteries consisted of a multitude of isolated small, dimly lit cells, in which the monks indulged in trying to know the eternal Tao. They looked at social transformations differently. Since Taoism preaches the principle of not doing, any attempts to change the world were considered as an encroachment on the fundamentals of dogma, and contemplation and solitude, on the contrary, help to merge with the Absolute and live a thousand years in harmony with Heaven.

Therefore, especially zealous followers of the teachings went to the mountains and cut down their stone cells in order to achieve immortality in complete solitude. Moreover, Taoism is probably the only religion that does not use the concepts of Heaven and Hell. Paradise - this is the immortal life, bestowed by the great Absolute, spent in the reflections and contemplation of the wonders of the universe.

      Masculine and Feminine in Taoism

Nowadays, almost everyone knows about the feminine and masculine principles in Chinese philosophy - Yin and Yang. As early as the fourth century BC, Taoist monks were able to depict a circle consisting of two elements: dark — feminine and light — masculine.

The monks believed that these two concepts are inseparable and can not exist without each other, so the life of every person can not be either just light or dark. For the female principle, calm and balance are characteristic, and for the male - active, powerful and active lifestyle.

The monks believed that these two principles fully complement each other, and if any one predominates in a person, then his life cannot be considered correct and he cannot reach Tao.

      Rites in Taoism

Unlike all other religions, Taoism did not have lush and solemn rituals, the Taoists preached an appeal to wildlife and the principle of contemplation. At the rites could not attend the uninitiated. For this reason, there are no Taoist temples. The only religious buildings Taoists were only monasteries.

At present, there are quite a few followers of this teaching in China, new monasteries are constantly being opened, and sometimes monks demonstrate their achievements in mastering the martial arts to the audience.

who was the founder of taoism in china

Saturday, September 24, 16:35 + in the quote

Taoism - Chinese traditional teaching, which includes elements of religion, mysticism, divination, shamanism, meditation practice, science. There is also a Taoist philosophy.
Taoism should be distinguished from the teachings of the Tao - a later phenomenon, widely known as neo-Confucianism.

      Formation of Taoism
Taoism in a stable religious organization took shape only in the II century, but numerous testimonies say that Taoism arose much earlier, at least in the 5th - 3rd centuries BC. e. There was already a developed tradition that prepared the elements of the teachings that were actively used in the Middle Ages.

The main sources of Taoism were the mystical and shamanistic cults of the kingdom of Chu and other "barbarous" states in southern China, the theory of immortality and magical practices developed in the kingdom of Qi and the philosophical tradition of northern China.

Philosophical writings related to Taoism, begin with the era of the Fighting Kingdoms (Zhango) in the V century BC. e. almost simultaneously with the teachings of Confucius. The tradition considers the founder of Taoism, the legendary Yellow Emperor Huangdi.

Another founder of Taoism is considered to be the ancient Chinese sage Lao Tzu. The Taoist tradition attributed to him the authorship of one of the main books of Taoism - "Tao Te Ching" (Kit. 道德 經). This treatise was the core around which the teachings of Taoism began to form.

Another famous text of early Taoism is Chuang Tzu, authored by Chuang Zhou (369–286 BCE), known by the name of Chuang Tzu, after whom his work is named.

At the beginning of 2 millennia n. e. the figure of Lao-tzu is deified, a complex hierarchy of deities and demons is developed, a cult arises, in which divination and rituals "casting out" evil spirits take center stage. The Pantheon of Taoism headed the Jasper Lord (Shan-di), who was worshiped as the god of heaven, the highest deity, and the father of emperors ("sons of heaven"). He was followed by Lao Tzu and the creator of the world, Pan-gu.

The foundations of Taoism, the philosophy of Lao Tzu, are outlined in the treatise "Tao Te Ching" (4th — 3rd centuries BC.). In the center of the doctrine is the doctrine of the great Tao, the universal Law and the Absolute. Tao is polysemous, it is an endless movement. Tao is a kind of law of being, of the cosmos, the universal unity of the world. Dao dominates everywhere and in everything, always and without limit. Nobody has created it, but everything comes from it, so that after completing the circuit it will be returned to it again. Invisible and inaudible, inaccessible to the senses, permanent and inexhaustible, nameless and formless, it gives rise to, name and form to everything in the world. Even the great Heaven follows Tao.

In order to become happy, each person must take this path, try to know Tao and merge with it. According to the teachings of Taoism, man — the microcosm is eternal just as the universe — the macrocosm. Physical death means only that the spirit is separated from the person and dissolved in the macrocosm. The task of man in his life is to ensure that his soul merges with the world order of Tao. How can such a merger be achieved? The answer to this question is contained in the teachings of the Tao.

This is a human activity that is consistent with the natural course of the world order. Any action contrary to Tao means a waste of power and leads to failure and death. Thus, Taoism teaches contemplative attitude to life. Bliss is achieved not by one who seeks to gain the favor of Tao by good deeds, but by one who, in the process of meditation, is immersed in one’s inner world and seeks to listen to oneself, but through oneself listen to oneself and comprehend the rhythm of the universe. Thus, the purpose of life was interpreted in Taoism as a return to the eternal, a return to its roots.

The moral ideal of Taoism is a hermit who, with the help of religious meditation, breathing and gymnastic exercises, achieves a high spiritual state that allows him to overcome all passions and desires, immerse himself in communion with divine Tao.

Tao manifests itself through everyday life and is embodied in the actions of trained people, although few of them completely “follow the Path.” Moreover, the practice of Taoism itself is built on a complex system of symbolism of correspondences and unity of the world of the general, cosmic, and internal, human. Everything, for example, is permeated with a single energy of qi. A child is born from mixing the original qi (yuan qi) of the father and mother, a person lives only continuing to nourish the body with some external qi (wai qi), translating it into an internal state through the system of breathing exercises and proper nutrition. Everything is truly "great" associated with the beyond, Tao, which at the same time instantly manifests itself in things, phenomena, actions. The cosmic here is constantly projected onto the human and manifests itself in a special vital "energeticism", the energetic potency of both Tao himself and people who could fully comprehend it. The path of the Tao itself is perceived as the beginning of energy, spiritualizing, for example, in “Chuang Tzu” it is said: “He spiritualized deities and kings, gave birth to Heaven and Earth.”

Political and legal thought of Taoism

The ideology of early Taoism reflected the views of small-scale nobility and the communal elite, their protest against the excessive enrichment of the rulers, the strengthening of the bureaucracy and the expansion of state activity. Having lost their former influence, these layers sought to restore the patriarchal order.

The founders of Taoism sought to debunk the ideology of the ruling circles, and above all the official religious cult with its dogmas of "heavenly will" and "sovereign - son of heaven", giving laws of dao to the people. Tao, as interpreted by the followers of Lao Tzu, is an absolute world principle. The faults of the society, the Taoists, explained by the fact that people, having surrendered to vain desires, moved away from their original simplicity, broke the natural ties that held them together with the earth, and instead of wisdom rely on knowledge. The cause of social unrest is the transition from the initial merger of man with Tao to the development of his abilities and knowledge.

In social and ethical terms, the leitmotif of Taoism is the condemnation of pride, the preaching of moderate means and moderation.

The "Tao de Jing" reflected widespread ideas among the peasant community about property redistribution in favor of the poor. The heavenly dao, the canon says, “takes away the superfluous and gives it away to the one who needs it. Heavenly dao takes away from the rich and gives the poor what they have been taken away. ”

Lao Tzu linked his hopes for restoring the natural simplicity of human relations with intelligent leaders from the hereditary aristocracy, who could see the “wonderful secret of the Tao” and lead the people.

The wise sovereign, who taught the Taoists, rules the country with the help of the non-action method, that is, refraining from actively interfering in the affairs of the members of Lao-tse society, decried the rulers of his day for being too active, imposing many taxes and prohibitive laws, leading endless warriors. "The best ruler is the one about which people know only that he exists."

Lao Tzu called on the nobility and the rulers to "settle closer to the land", to restore the order that existed in antiquity, when people lived in small isolated settlements, to abandon the use of tools and wean the people from knowledge.

The socio-political concept of Taoism was a reactionary utopia. She was nourished by the attitudes of those strata of the nobility and the communal elite, whose position was undermined by the growing property and social stratification. Lacking real power to fight the new aristocracy, these layers claimed to be the guardians of sacred wisdom, not accessible to others. At the same time, they sought to improve their property affairs, to equal the aristocracy of wealth, using for this the community traditions of mutual aid.

      The main categories of Taoism

Tao - literally “way”, in Taoism - being and change of the Universe in the most general sense. Impersonal force, the will of the universe, to which the order of all things in the world must correspond
De - literally "virtue" or "morality." A virtue given from above (from Tao) does not have the characteristics of a physical, forceful influence, unlike the Greek “arete.” Grace, great spiritual power, which Heaven endowed the ruler of China and which he could transmit to his subjects
Wu wei - literally “non-doing” - understanding when to act, and when to stay inactive
Poo - literally “raw piece of wood” personifies the energy of untouched objects, if simpler, then simplicity of soul, soul of poo.

The Pantheon of Taoism headed the Jasper Lord (Shan-di), who was worshiped as the god of heaven, the highest deity and father of emperors ("sons of heaven"), followed by Lao-tzu and the creator of the world, Pan-gu.

      The first Taoist schools

The design of religious Taoism occurred during the late Han dynasty: Zhang Daolin (34–156) established the Five Buckets of Rice school in Sichuan province (later the Heavenly Mentors 天师) and became its first patriarch. In the second half of the second century, the rise of yellow dressings 184–204 became a prerequisite for the popularity of Taoism: the Third Heavenly Mentor Zhang Lu was able to control Hanzhong (Shaanxi Province), adjacent to the mountains of Sichuan Province, which became the first Taoist theocratic state. The Taoist state was defeated by Cao Cao at 215 and ceased to exist, however, Cao Cao bestowed privileges on his mentor and drew to the courtyard, causing the school to spread over a wide area, including in northern China. In the era of the Six Dynasties, the school became known as the School of Heavenly Mentors.

Later, other Taoist schools appeared. An important role in the development of Taoism was played by the Maoshan schools (aka Shantsin) and Lingbao.

The literature (including Chinese) often discusses the possibility of borrowing the provisions of Taoism from Indian philosophy, or vice versa, the transfer of Taoism to India and the foundation of Buddhism there [4]. It also points out the similarity with the Chinese philosophy of the Indian concept of the faceless Absolute, the emanation of which created the visible phenomenal world and merged with it (to escape from the phenomenal world) was the goal of the Brahmins. This question has been repeatedly raised in various Taoist schools. However, detailed research rejects the hypothesis of direct borrowing.

Lao Tzu could not bring to India a philosophy with which they were known no less than five hundred years before his birth. In its concrete practical activity, Taoism in China little resembled the practice of Brahmanism. On Chinese soil, rationalism overcame any mysticism, pushed it to the periphery of the public consciousness, where it could only persist. So it was with Taoism. Although the treatise Chuang Tzu states that life and death are relative concepts, the emphasis is on life and how it should be organized.

Mystical ideals in this treatise, expressed, in particular, in references to fantastic longevity (800, 1200 years) and immortality, which can be achieved by righteous hermits who approached Tao, played an important role in the transformation of philosophical Taoism into Taoism religious. This is its main divergence with most religions: the desire for immortality among the Taoists replaces the desire for paradise among followers of other beliefs.

      Canon formation

By the 5th century n. e. the Taoist canon of Tao Zang (Treasury of the Tao) was formed, which already included more than 250 Taoist texts modeled on the Buddhist canon. Finally, Tao Tsang was formed in 1607, when the last group of 56 works was added to it. In its present form, Tao Zang is a collection of 1488 essays.

      Taoism development

Taoism almost never was the official religion - rather it was a movement of the masses, lonely practitioners and hermits. But in the depths of Taoism, new ideas were regularly born that inspired scholars, politicians, and writers. Peasant riots in China and uprisings with the overthrow of dynasties also originated in the depths of Taoism [5].

Taoism was further divided into two currents: the Sun Jiang and Yin Wen schools, on the one hand, and the Chuang Zhou school, on the other.

In the era of the Six Dynasties, the School of Heavenly Mentors spread throughout China, but other schools gained popularity and the influence of the Heavenly Mentors weakened. The school was split, the Northern Heavenly Mentors, and then the Southern Heavenly Mentors also appeared. At the same time, the schools of Shangqing (focusing on visualizations and contact with the gods) and Lingbao (paying attention to meditation, experiencing the influence of Buddhism) were gaining strength.

Later, in the Tang era, the School of Heavenly Mentors was recreated as the School of the True One (Zhengyi), receiving special imperial privileges, in the era of Song, the Zhengyi school received imperial privileges and its supremacy over Shangqing and Lingbao was recognized, and in 1304 the Mongolian authorities confirmed the status of the school , and noticeably weakened, Shangqing and Lingbao were absorbed and ceased to exist independently.

Wang Chongyang (XII century) and his students founded the Quanzhen School of Monastic Taoism, which was spread mainly in northern China. Thus, in the post-Mongol era, Taoism began to be represented by two main schools - the School of the True United in the south and Quanzhen in the north.

The decline of Taoism in the Qing era

It is known that the emperor Kansi (1654-1722) was skeptical of all sorts of superstitions and mystical practices. This is not surprising, since he was a Manchu and was indifferent to Chinese philosophy. Thus, during one of his travels in the south of China, a local resident presented him with a treatise on the achievement of immortality through alchemy. In response, Kangxi ordered the book to be thrown back. Taoists, even of the highest rank, were also not among the emperor's favorites [6].

      1. A little dry chestnut rind - to do this, leave it for a few days in an enclosed space, or put it in the sun. If possible, do not divide it into halves, let the junction of the two parts remain.
      2. Take a small piece of brown plasticine, make an oval. Place it under the halves of the chestnut rind - it will be the body of the beetle. For fidelity, you can seal the skin of the seed with clay clay glue.
      3. In the side of the stick a few twigs - three on each side. Choose bent elements that will resemble paws, or bend them yourself.
      4. Attach a chestnut from the side where the head of the insect will be. With the help of plasticine, mold the bug of the eye, make a nose, where you will thrust two more thin branches - these are the antennae.
      5. A fun toy is ready!

The original vase with chestnuts will be a wonderful interior decoration, this item will attract the attention of guests and please the household with an unusual look. You can keep in it donated flowers or ikebana with dried plants - the hand-made article on the theme of autumn will then look even more advantageous. For the implementation of ideas you need a lot of chestnuts, glue, brown paint and a vase with a smooth surface.

      1. Paint the vase with brown paint so that possible gaps between the chestnuts are not conspicuous. Let it dry.
      2. Take the glue. Apply to chestnut on the flat side, carefully attach the nut seed to the vase. Hold for a few seconds to hold the glue.
      3. Continue pasting the vase. Try to make the distance between chestnuts was minimal.
      4. If desired, coat the finished craftwork with varnish. You can decorate the vase with sprigs, rowan berries.
      5. Stylish interior is ready!

      Some innovations

A significant part of the fruits of autumn creativity are figurines of people and animals. They need eyes. Traditionally, very expressive, but, alas, short-lived eyes are obtained from the fruits of the snowberry - a common bush in the middle latitudes, see fig. For clear pupils, small, rounded black seeds can be inserted into them, for example. mouse peas.

Eyes that can live her whole life with a figure can be made of glued pieces of white and colored felt, like all other additional elements, see fig. left. Its full-fledged substitute, with a more affordable and easy to use - geofabric (geofilm). The one that covers greenhouses and greenhouses. You can paint it with markers.

      Autumn crafts with felt details

Parts of handicrafts are usually glued with PVA, Moment, etc., but recently acrylic glue is being used more and more. Non toxic instant cyanoacrylate, but water based. It is safe, easily peeled off the body. With hair - wet comb. The same goes for acrylic lacquers and paints.

Very fond of expressing an emerging personality in the autumn creativity of children.

If we are talking about durable products, it is better to replace it with polymer clay (plastic, cold porcelain). Plastic can be done at home with their own hands. Raw materials are inexpensive and affordable, but the cooking process itself is rather laborious. But 300-350 g of plastic, obtained at a time, is enough for a whole collection of knick-knacks. Plastic easily accepts painting and varnishing with acrylic, it is processed with a knife and an awl. Well, on the other autumn-tricks we will recall along the way, in relation to a specific material.

The strongest basis for autumn crafts is given by empty cones of coniferous trees. Well-made crafts of cones retain their appearance for years and can serve as a permanent decoration of the interior. The material is solid, working with it requires a small steel tool. Therefore, to engage in shishkotvorchestvom should be adults and grown-up children.

      Unknown bumps

Cones are not only on pines, spruces and cedars. The coniferous plants include those that and not all botanists call conifers. For example, species and garden form of thuja. In cultural plantations, they are distributed up to St. Petersburg. Cones tui small, but diverse, see fig. From them it is possible to make various complementary elements in the general spirit of cone compositions.

      Thuja and Juniper Cones

Juniper cones do not look like cones, but rather like berries, on the right of fig. they make good and durable pupils of the eyes and noses of little animals. Search now rare and legally protected juniper is not necessary: its bumps are a drug and are sold dry in pharmacies.

Note: Sometimes Araucaria is grown in rooms. It is also a cone-plant with small, very original cones.

      One bump

Mini crafts come out already from the 1st cone, would be enough imagination and vigilance. By the way, in pos. 1 pic on the back of a hedgehog - the very bumps of araucaria, which were discussed. But - back to fantasy. The lump is most often considered from spreading scales. And if you just look from the bottom, "on the ass?" You see that there may be, pos. four? Baba Yaga with a walking fly agaric instead of a goblin or Kashchei, pos. 5 is quite in the spirit of a dense forest of Russian fairy tales, but crocodiles do not eat cones and there are no pine trees with spruce forests, like penguins, pos. 6 and 7.

      Crafts from single cones

Note: acorns organically fit into the crafts of the cones, which we will recall.

      Cone technology

Cones are firmly glued together with any glue on wood, so the simplest way to assemble a craft from them is to glue a suitable base with cones. So the hedgehogs, so popular now, are made of cones and a plastic bottle, on the left in fig. But the bumps can interlock by themselves if they are stuck into each other with scales, in the center. For strength, several drops of glue are allowed in the joints.

      Assembled crafts from cones

In the same technique of mutual coupling, make baskets of cones. But here, for greater strength, it is desirable to reinforce the product with a flexible electrical wire in isolation, on the right in fig. Especially, if the basket is not just an ornament, but also a household item - a vase for sweets, etc.

Sometimes crowns of dry trees, topiary, are collected from the cones. For this it is necessary to use an awl or microdrill with a thin, 0.7-1.2 mm drill. In the rod, bumps from the rear (where the tail was) drilled or punched a blind hole with a depth of approx. 1 cm. Then glue is dropped into it and immediately a severe or kapron thread is pushed with a toothpick. Toothpick break off, leaving a hole in the hole. As an option, but far less convenient - a thin wire with a curved end is inserted directly into the glue. The tails of the cord or wire cones attached to the stem, starting from the bottom. The tails of the upper ones, which are already difficult to tie up, are carried through the crown with a crochet hook and knit at the bottom.

      Speaking of hedgehogs

Among the autumn crafts hedgehogs occupy a special place. They are made of needles from sunflower or acacia seeds, straws, yarn, etc., see fig. Even from cedar nuts, at present prices! The work is painstaking, but a completely plausible hedgehog comes out of a whole basket of sunflower with a scraped loose core and cut edges, to the right of Fig. So that the seeds do not fall out, his back is dug out of the PVA medical syringe or transparent acrylic varnish, diluted with water by two or three times. In any case, the base is better to be made of plastic.

There is another way to make an autumn hedgehog from the 1st cone, and not just a hedgehog. This is also a rather painstaking work, although not as much as in the previous one. case: needles stick between scales. In order not to fall out as drying, glue undermining. You can also stick branches, leaves, etc., according to the plan, see the next. rice

Crafts from cones with additional elements in scales

Fruits of horse chestnut are not as durable as cones: by the spring the core dries out, the crust dims and becomes fragile. But fresh chestnuts are very elegant, and beautiful crafts from chestnuts can be created right there on the street, walking with children. For example, it is enough to add chestnuts with eyes still in the cuddle, and you get funny faces, on the left in fig. Figures, like toothpicks or sprigs of figurines such as a snowman are collected from matches that are husked right on the spot; on the right side of the pic, mouth, nose, eyes can be punctured and scratched with a penknife. True, there is no chestnut snow in the areas of man-made disasters, so children call these figures (at least, once called) “stuffed-meowed fried”.

      Simple crafts from chestnuts

The trace of the plumes on the seeds of chestnut is wide and looks like a monkey's muzzle, therefore, like a hedgehog from cones, so from chestnut is the most common hand-made article - a monkey figurine. As for the other figures, then it is only a matter of fantasy, some samples, see the following. rice

      Chestnut Handmade Samples

      Volume crafts from chestnuts

Here, as mentioned above, it is better to use toothpicks instead of matches. First, it’s not necessary to pin chestnuts many times. Secondly, from chestnuts on toothpicks it is possible to collect complex volumetric compositions, such as chemical molecules, pos. 1 in fig. on right. Bulky chestnuts with a seemingly continuous surface (crowns of topiary, vases, baskets) are collected on a propylene thread or a nylon cord using a sewing needle. Quite wide gaps between chestnuts need something to cover, most of all for this fit acorns and beans, pos. 2

      Chestnut and acorn mushrooms

In complex autumn-style compositions created at home, chestnuts are often made from mushrooms, cutting the peel at the equator and cutting the core, something like boletus, white or Polish mushroom. To imitate oil and mokhovikov on a leg it is better to let an acorn, fastened with a hat with a piece of toothpick. The underside of the cap is tinted with acrylic paint, see fig. left. And in order to get an orange-cap boletus or an amanita, the hat is already painted.

Autumn leaf crafts are the most common. Immediately on a walk from the leaves you can weave a wreath on your head - which of the girls in childhood did not feel like a princess in it? A wreath is made of the fallen leaves just like a wreath of wild flowers, see the video below. You only need to take the leaves with long petioles - maple - and in the southern regions fit plane trees.

Video: A wreath of leaves - an example of production

A fallen sheet is considered to be a very short-lived material: it is suitable for work for only a few hours, then dries out and becomes fragile or rot. Crafts from autumn leaves without additional preparation and processing are kept indoors with moderate humidity for 2-4 weeks. But what kind of preparation with processing?

To make autumn leaf crafts last long enough until spring, or even a few years, you will need:

      • PVA glue or water-polymer emulsion. It is sold in packages of 5 liters for construction and woodwork, but this is the same PVA, heavily diluted.
      • Water-based acrylic lacquer.
      • Distilled water in a quantity sufficient to dilute the varnish and PVA (if there is no emulsion) 3-5 times. Distilled water can be purchased at any pharmacy with a prescription department.

The essence of the method is in distilled water. For the impregnation of wood, PVA can be diluted with ordinary tap water of good quality, but in order to make dead leaves suitable for finer work and to fix the whole product, there should not be dissolved salts in the water. Step-by-step instructions for enhancing the semi-precious qualities of a fallen leaf and strengthening autumn leaf-making are simple:

      1. We dilute a varnish and, optionally, PVA, by 3-5 times. Thus we get a bactericidal water-repellent impregnation-plasticizer and lacquer-fixer. The proportion is noncritical, the solutions are kept in a tightly sealed container for a long time,
      2. The leaves, not yet brittle, are cleared of dirt with a soft toothbrush and rinsed in tap water,
      3. Then we soak them with a paper towel or napkin and dry them not in direct light or near heating devices,
      4. When there are no visible drops and a film of moisture on the leaves, we treat with a soft brush from 2 sides with a water-polymer emulsion or diluted with PVA,
      5. After drying the impregnation (1-3 hours) let the leaves into work. You can glue them only with PVA or acrylic glue!
      6. Finished product several times until it is no longer absorbed, cover with a lacquer-fixer,
      7. After the fixer has dried, the craft can be opened for strength and gloss with undiluted acrylic varnish.

Best of all, leaf applications on paper are fixed in a similar way. On the wall they can hang in their original form for several years, up to 10 and more. If autumn leaf pictures are created by this method for a kindergarten or school, then it is possible to create a large gallery for several generations of children, or even a museum.

A little more about the applications

Children's works from the fallen leaves sometimes take part and take prizes in serious autumn opening days with reputable jury, then the parents of young authors may be offered to accept their offspring to a school for especially gifted ones. By what criteria are sophisticated art historians and artists determining worthy work?

      Children's leaf applications

The most important thing is laconic expressiveness, it has always been valued and appreciated in art. The second condition is a minimum of additional materials, coloring and trimming, as in fig. It is impossible to become an artist without feeling nature, and her feeling largely comes down to the ability to see the hidden expressive possibilities of blanks. Third - some pomp and fine detailing are not forbidden, but without excesses and only where they are necessary and relevant. And, finally, thematic compositions are especially appreciated, where the same set of materials plays all facets, like on the trail. rice

Thematic selection of autumn leaf crafts

The same technique is used in the creation of volumetric objects from the leaves. The basis is a balloon. Inflatable balls come in different shapes, so it is possible to manufacture them from the leaves of autumn cups, vases, jugs. Inflated ball smeared with petroleum jelly and paste over with plasticizer-treated leaves in several layers. After the blank is dried, the ball is blown off, and the product is fixed and, if desired, varnished.

      Trees and bouquets

Autumn topiary and bouquets are closely connected with phytoplasty (this is the art of creating volumetric works of decorative art from leaves). The simplest, but rather reliable and natural-looking, stem-trunk of an artificial autumn tree is a pack of kraft paper, crumpled and twisted into a bundle. Branches and branches are obtained by tears of the top, also twisted into bundles. Then the trunk is treated with the same diluted PVA, and then - the work of your fantasy, see fig. on right.

The creation of autumn bouquets is a special art, also coming from phytoplasty. In addition to school by September 1, they are collected from flowers for cutting according to the season. About autumn bouquets - decorations here you can say the following. First, a bouquet such as from left to next. Fig., can be made much more durable, leaving almost the same in appearance, having dried it in the sand. Sand needs the construction of the smallest and yellow, of relatively soft feldspar with rounded grains, but without a large admixture of iron salts, i.e. not white quartz and not reddish or reddish. You also need a piece of thin plastic in which the bouquet fits without touching the walls and bottom. Next, proceed as follows:

      1. Sand take so much that the selected vessel was filled with them entirely,
      2. Sand well roasted on a baking sheet in the oven, and cooled to a temperature of 3-5 degrees above room temperature. Its control is a thermometer immersed in the sand,
      3. In the dishes on crossed sticks we hang the bouquet with our feet so that it does not touch the walls and the bottom,
      4. Gently, smoothly streaming around the edge, we fall asleep a bouquet of sand to the top of the dish,
      5. We dry not in direct light and without additional heating in a warm dry room for 2-3 weeks,
      6. We put a container with a bouquet on the edge of a larger pot,
      7. Cut a hole with a sharp knife in the bottom of the drying tank and gradually release sand,
      8. Without turning the bouquet, we blow off the remnants of sand with a syringe or a household hairdryer at the lowest power without heating.

The bouquet, which is on the right in fig. - a very popular composition with roses from leaves. Leaves for her need svezhepalye maple. It is not necessary to process them immediately, as described above, the finished product is impregnated and fixed. And how to turn the leaves into roses, see below the master class in pictures.

      Harvest in the bins ...

Compositions on the theme of “Golden Autumn” are also a separate art, the synthesis of phytoplastics and autumn bouquets, with their own exhibitions and competitions. They are confined, as a rule, to the harvest festival, therefore the indispensable elements of the compositions of golden autumn are ripe fruit of fields, orchards and gardens in large numbers, see fig.

      Composition "Golden Autumn"

Here, first, we need pomp, symbolizing abundance. Secondly, light, veiled, erotic hints in the form of pepper pods, etc. are permissible and desirable. And what is this, because autumn is the time for weddings? In the old days, it had a very definite meaning. The newlyweds were not to conceive with their offspring. The wife gave birth in the spring, when the mother could already get fresh foods and vitamins. And by his first winter the baby turned out to be so strong that he could survive it, if it had been a year of poor harvest.

      Descendants of the fallen leaf

Even phytoplasty spawned autumn origami. The purpose of this flow is to create an autumn mood, which is achieved by a base of dry branches, and the leaves are made of paper, see an example for pos. III figure The art of folding paper is origami.

How to make leaves for autumn bouquet - origami

There is, so you know, 2 directions of origami: origami-up, or high origami, and modular origami. In origami-up it is allowed to use only 1 solid square sheet of paper, possibly colored, without cuts, glue and use of tools. Objects of modular origami are glued from parts and can be painted. Blanks are allowed to cut.

What kind of origami you will like more - your business. How do folded on origami-maple leaf, given in pos. I, willow - on pos. Iv. And how the modular origami maple leaf is made and looks like is shown in pos. V and III acc.

Coming to the completion of our review of autumnal crafts, it is impossible not to linger on acorns. For children, toys made from acorns are a special world, because they see small objects larger, more prominent and bright than adults.

Within the Russian Federation, several species of oak trees grow, and several more are introduced from Asia and the western hemisphere. Acorns all have different poses. 1 in fig. Acrylic glue smooth acorns are glued into complex objects, one of the examples is in fig. at the beginning. But traditionally the objects of acorn inspiration are mini-compositions.

Different acorns and crafts from acorns

Snake from acorns and acorn caps

If the primordial cone figure is a hedgehog, and the chestnut one is a monkey, then acorns also manifest themselves in a micro-vessel. Acorn servizik can be collected on the spot, pos. 2. Handles - strips of bast or thin bark. Holes for them are punctured with the tip of a penknife. The same service, but using plastic and glue, is possible home, pos. 3. Spectacular and mini-compositions of acorns on any other subject, pos. 4, it is only the imagination. For example, the original frames are recruited from acorn caps - plus, pos. 5. Do you need a lot of them? In acorns on earth a little? As long as you like, you can strung on a cord and make an excellent wreath on the door with glue, pos. 6. And only from the 1st acorn and many hats by the same stringing - a snake, see fig. on right.

      Figures from acorns

Here in pic. “For inspiration” we give a detailing of the acorn watchdog and samples of figures of this type. But the little man on the right from the category of "stuffed-meowed fried" can also be with movable handles-legs. To do this, their acorns are pierced with an awl and their limbs are not collected on toothpicks, but on a copper winding enameled wire with a diameter of 0.6-0.8 mm or pieces of computer cable cores a twisted pair ("vituha"). The conductors of these wires are made of oxygen-free copper, which can withstand a fairly large number of bends. The conductors of the electric wires are thinner, 0.15-0.4 mm, and they are made of ordinary electrical copper, which is more fragile.
